What:  2nd Congressional District Convention 

When:   Saturday, May 6th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Where: Barnveld, Wisconsin

What is this about?  The convention is a chance to engage in your political life, become a delegate to the State Convention, network with fellow Dems, find like-minded people, hear and vote on potential statewide issues, learn more about the political process and what you can do to make a difference. 

Who will be there?  People from all of the county parties in our Congressional District will be there: elected officials, WisDems leadership, county party leaders, and hopefully you!   This is a time for all of the various area Democratic parties to get come together. 

How much is the conference?  $30.  Lunch is included in the registration fee. Financial fee assistance available.

Can I bring my family?  Of Course!  Folks and families are encouraged to turn this event into a weekend getaway with the numerous amenities and attractions nearby.  There’s a block of discounted hotel rooms that can be reserved for your enjoyment. Come for the day, stay one night or all weekend.

What else should I note?   You must be current on your WisDems Membership to become a 2nd CD Delegate. Being a delegate allows you to vote and makes you eligible to become a next-level delegate at the State Convention in June.
